Meet Alejandro & Christopher

Create more Frienships
Sometimes, the most life-changing friendships begin in the simplest ways—a Friday night, a shared game, and a place where you can finally feel like yourself.

For Christopher, e’s Club became the highlight of his week from the very first visit. When he first started attending, his parents carried a quiet sense of uncertainty. They wondered how he would adjust to an environment that felt less structured and more social than what he was used to. Would he feel comfortable? Would he find his place?
They quickly found their answer.

Christopher loved it.

He jumped into activities with excitement—learning to play video games with other boys, trying arts and crafts, and even picking up a game of pool. Week by week, something even more meaningful began to happen. For the first time, he was coming home talking about friends. Friday quickly became his favorite day of the week.
Every Friday morning, without fail, he would remind his parents with excitement,
“Tonight is e’s Club!”

It wasn’t just a place to go—it was a place where he belonged.
Then, during the pandemic, everything changed.
When e’s Club had to close its doors, the loss of that connection hit Christopher deeply. The routines, the friendships, and the comfort of being in a space where he felt understood were suddenly gone. His parents watched as his happiness and social confidence began to fade.

“For three or four months,” they shared, “Christopher asked every Friday if e’s Club was open yet.”
He missed more than the activities—he missed his people.

So when e’s Club reopened, Christopher’s family was one of the very first to sign back up.
And soon after, something truly special happened.

Christopher formed deep friendships with Alejandro and Will.
What started as time spent together at the club quickly grew into something much bigger. These weren’t just Friday night friendships—they became real friendships, the kind that extend into everyday life. Together, they built Lego jails, traded jokes, celebrated birthdays, attended Halloween gatherings, and planned trips for ice cream. Their bond was built on laughter, trust, and the simple joy of being kids together.
For Christopher, friendship became something he no longer had to search for—it became something he could count on.

For Alejandro, e’s Club has become just as meaningful.
It’s one of the highlights of his week—a place where he gets to spend time with his best friends and fully be himself. It’s where he tells silly stories, plays games, jokes around, and exists without the fear of being judged or misunderstood.
More than anything, it’s a space where friendship feels easy.
A place where, as Alejandro says,
“You get to hang out with friends without a fear of bullying.”
That sense of safety and belonging means just as much to his family.

Christopher, Alejandro, and Will’s story is about more than friendship—it’s about finding community.
It’s about parents watching their children grow more confident. It’s about kids discovering what it feels like to be accepted exactly as they are. It’s about laughter, inside jokes, birthday parties, and Friday nights that become the best part of the week.

For their families, e’s Club is more than a program—it’s peace of mind. It’s knowing their children have a place where they are safe, valued, and surrounded by people who understand them.
It’s friendship, confidence, and belonging—all in one place.

None of this happens without YOU.
Because e’s Club is 90% donor-funded, friendships like Ruby and Sydney’s are only possible through the generosity of donors who believe every child deserves a place to feel safe, accepted, and known.

Today, we need your support to make more magic happen for e’s Club members living with the social challenges of ASD Level 1!
Give to create more friendships, more confidence and more joy.
