On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, if you arrive about fifteen minutes before e’s Club opens, you’ll witness something extraordinary.

Teens and young adults, many of whom once struggled to find their place, greet each other with excitement. You’ll see high-fives, hear laughter, and feel the joy of friendships that were once unimaginable. Parents congregate in the lobby and share in that joy too, because they know how rare and precious these moments are.

This simple scene is exactly why Erin’s Hope for Friends exists. And it’s the reason we need your support today.

For Christopher, e’s Club became the highlight of his week from the very first visit. His parents were nervous about how he’d handle such an unstructured environment, but they didn’t need to worry. He loved it. He learned to play video games with other boys, tried arts and crafts, and even learned to play pool. For the first time, he was coming home talking about friends.

On Friday mornings, he would remind his parents, “Tonight is E’s Club!”

When the pandemic shut everything down, the loss of social connection hit him hard. “For three or four months,” his parents shared, “Christopher asked every Friday if e’s Club was open yet.” His happiness and social skills faded without the place where he felt truly understood.

So when e’s Club reopened, the family was one of the first to sign up. And soon, something life-changing happened: Christopher made real friends with Alejandro and Will. Not just e’s Club friends, but real friends. Friends who build Lego jails together, trade jokes, share birthday parties, go to gatherings, and plan ice cream outings. Friends who make life fuller.

Christopher’s parents, Chris and Deb, wrote,
“e’s Club has definitely changed our son’s life for the better.”

For Alejandro, e’s Club is also one of the highlights of his week. It’s where he met his best friends. It’s where he gets to tell silly stories, play games, joke around, and be fully himself without fear or judgment.

His mother shared,
“Thank you for giving these kids and young adults the opportunity of having a safe space to be their wonderful selves, together with their friends.”
Because stories like Christopher’s and Alejandro’s matter, our Board of Directors has come forward with their own giving to inspire others to help fund e's Club with an incredible year-end challenge:
They are challenging our community to help us raise $40,000 by December 31.
Why? Because E’s Club is 90% donor funded.
We rely on friends like you to keep our doors open, our staff equipped, and our teens and young adults supported week after week.

This challenge gift is an opportunity to double the impact of your generosity. When you give now…whether $25, $250, or $2,500, your gift helps us meet this goal and ensures that young people with ASD1 continue to have a safe, joyful, accepting place to build lifelong friendships.

Will you help us make our 2026 budget and make a generous year-end gift by December 31st...or today!
