When Ruby first walked through the doors of e’s Club, she was unsure, hesitant, and afraid. Her ASD1 caused her to have a social gridlock that isolated her from making friends. Navigating ASD1 was already challenging, and after a recent move, the family (like so many others) hoped to help their daughter find meaningful friendships, but it wasn’t easy. Before e’s Club, Ruby often kept to herself. New environments felt overwhelming, and connection felt just out of reach. Attending Open House in September 2024, something quite powerful began to unfold. |

What started as a simple introduction has grown into a beautiful, life-changing friendship. Today, Ruby and Sydney are inseparable. They are spending weekends together, visiting the park, and looking forward to swimming days this summer. But more than shared activities, they’ve found something deeper: comfort, belonging, and joy in simply being themselves.
Ruby’s mom now sees a completely different child. A confident, happy, and outgoing young person who eagerly engages in conversation and lights up when talking about her favorite things...like drawing video game characters and crafting with friends. At e’s Club, creativity becomes a connection. Conversations flow naturally. Friendships take root.
And Friday nights? They’ve become something truly special.

The impact extends beyond the teens. Ruby’s parents have found connection too by building meaningful relationships with other families who understand their journey. This includes the friendship both Ruby and Sydney have with Tristin and his family. What began as a search for belonging has grown into a community of support. |

None of this happens without you. Because e’s Club is 90% donor-funded, friendships like Ruby and Sydney’s are only possible through the generosity of donors who believe every child deserves a place to feel safe, accepted, and known. “I am full of gratitude,” Ruby’s mom shared. “You’ve created a magical place where our kids can be themselves… My daughter’s bright smile at the end of the night is everything to me. Thank you!” Today, we need your support to make more magic happen for e’s Club members living withthe social challenges of ASD Level 1! Give to create more friendships, more confidence and more joy. |
